I had a pair of too-large white bootcut J.Crew jeans. Why? I wanted white jeans and these were on sale. There were so large, I had to have it tailored in the butt (that's what she said?) so that the fabric would lie flat instead of ripple in an unattractive fashion. Then there's also the bootcut leg. Bootcut somehow equals bell bottoms on me so I felt awkward wearing them. I mean, white is supposed to make you look larger anyway, let alone having excess amounts of fabric on the lower leg. So I skinnied them using this tutorial. And I think it was a success.
Here's the first picture I took of myself in the skinnied jeans.
